Deputy stabbed, man killed during trailer court incident

An Elmore County sheriff's deputy was wounded and a suspect killed during an incident Monday evening.

The deputy and a Mountain Home Police officer were called to the Rose Garden Trailer Park on the city's north side around 11:30 p.m. that day following reports of a man with a gun.

Law enforcement officers confront a male subject matching the description of the individual. The suspect then attacked both officers, stabbing the deputy multiple times in the process, according to information released by the county sheriff's office.
