James and Bettencourt announce engagement

Chris and Renae James from Mountain Home have announced the engagement of their son, Steven Michael James of Mountain Home to Tiffany Amber Bettencourt from Johannesburg, South Africa.

The groom-to-be graduated from Mountain Home High School in 2014 before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he currently holds the rank of corporal.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Miguel and Hayley Bettencourt from Johannesburg, South Africa. She attended Jeppe High School for Girls for 3 1/2 before moving to Mountain Home, where she attended online classes in Connections Academy. Bettencourt was a dancer in Johannesburg for 12 years before dancing another 1 1/2 years at Methods of Movement Dance & Performing Arts Studio Senior Company.

An outside wedding is planned at the Triangle P Ranch in Grand View, which belongs to the groom's grandparents, David and Maryellen Poseley.
