Street conditions take center stage at 'coffee' event

The state of street repairs in the Mountain Home area following a harsh winter topped a range of topics aired during an informal gathering that allowed Mayor Rich Sykes and local officials to meet with people in the local community.

During his comments at the inaugural "Coffee With the Mayor" event last Thursday, Sykes said he was very happy with the larger-than-expected crowd, who came to speak to the mayor and city department heads.
