Showing their appreciation

Karen Birchfield and Connie Cruser from the Mountain Home Senior Center present a certificate of appreciation to Wal-Mart representatives Victoria Breding, Maggie McFadden and many of the store's employees during a meeting Dec. 14. Local Wal-Mart employees contributed $6,000 to the local senior center to help with ongoing efforts to renovate the center's kitchen. The store raised the money during a chili fund raiser in October along with money collected during various volunteer efforts.
