Elisabet Pedroza-Ortiz

Elisabet "Lisa" Pedroza, 34, of Mountain Home, passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2016.

Lisa was born Jan. 1, 1982, in Mountain Home to Miguel and Teresa Pedroza. Lisa is the third of nine children, and her parents always referred to her as the baby born during the biggest winter storm they have seen in the area.

She attended school in the Mountain Home School District, and Lisa became a mother at an early age to her four children, Luis, Julie, Juan and Angel. She worked various job throughout her life as a single mother raising her children with the help of her parents and other family members.

Lisa was a child at heart, always having fun with her many nieces and nephews and always looking for the next adventure with her sisters and friends.

On Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, the family will greet friends from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. Rosary. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the directions of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Lisa is survived by her four children, Luis, Julie, Juan and Angel; her mother and father, Teresa and Miguel Pedroza; her six sisters, Veronica, Teresa, Lilianna, Juanita, Marisela and Esmeralda; as well as her two brothers, Miguel and Ramiro; and her 26 nieces and nephews.
