Helen Mack, Melissa Andersen and Roger Pena with Jacksons Food Stores in Mountain Home present a check to Giving Tree representatives Nancy Thompson, Vickie Bermensolo, Alain Isaac and Jackie March during an informal meeting Dec. 7. The local service station provided $525 in financial support to the volunteer organization as the Giving Tree effort continued this month to presents to 517 children of needy families in the Mountain Home community. Money provided by the local service station was raised during a Giving Tree silent auction, which ran for two weeks in early November.
