Winter's first storm leads to one death, multiple crashes

Southern Idaho's first winter storm of the season led to one death while triggering a number of crashes and slideoffs across Elmore County.
Blowing snow and frigid temperatures caused road conditions on the interstate and local roadway to ice over on Dec. 7 and again on Thursday with emergency responders struggling to deal with the number of incidents reported by city, county and state law enforcement agencies.
