Police veterans honor past chief

In the early 1990s, the gang problem in Mountain Home continued to get worse. At one point, the violence had escalated into the city's first drive-by shooting.
It was something that Tom Berry wanted to eliminate from this city once and for all. As Mountain Home's new police chief, he had a vision to create a safe community through an effort known as community policing.
