Student honored for art contributions

Recognizing her contributions at school and in the local community, a student at Mountain Home High School received recognition through a program aimed at recognizing students for these achievements.

Katie Pederson was selected as the school's student of the month, which seeks create a culture of learning and stresses the values of academic success, civic involvement as well as personal character and values, according to school officials.
