Students inducted into academic excellence society

Mountain Home Junior High School students recite their oath as they prepare to join the Society for Academic Excellence during a ceremony Thursday evening.

Honoring traditions of excellence, integrity, determination and service, representatives from Mountain Home Junior High School welcomed 87 students into its new society for academic excellence.

Hundreds of parents packed into the Mountain Home Junior High School gym to witness the event, which added seventh and eighth grade students into the organization.
