Report: Local home market improving

Home prices through the last six months of 2015 showed signs of improvement while the demand for houses in the local area indicated continued recovery following the housing market collapse nearly eight years ago.

According to information provided by the Elmore County Board of Realtors last week, the average price of a single-family home from July to December 2015 was $136,000.
