Talkin' Tigers post strong finish at Pocatello tourney

Mountain Home High School's Talkin' Tigers speech and debate team turned in another strong performance at the Gate City Speech and Debate Tournament at Pocatello earlier this month.

The Talkin' Tigers finished fourth out of the 18 schools in attendance.

According to coach John Petti, the team only brought 14 students to the tournament, which was about half the size of other teams at the event. Despite a smaller squad, Mountain Home was well represented in the finals, he said.
