Newspaper names winners of country music festival packages
Two local residents along with two of their family members or friends will attend the Mountain Home Country Music Festival this weekend after they won ticket packages to attend southern Idaho's inaugural event.
Amber Duty and Mona Noble will each receive a package of three, three-day general admission passes for the festival, which begins Friday, July 31, in the foothills north of Mountain Home.
"We are excited for our winners and pass along our congratulations and hope they have a good time," said Brenda Fincher, publisher of the Mountain Home News. "We thank the organizers of the Mountain Home Country Music Festival for the opportunity to reward our readers with this chance."
The country music celebration will bring together more than 20 artists, including country music superstars Brad Paisley, Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton.
People had three ways to enter for the random drawings. Some entered in person at the newspaper office on South 3rd East Street while others signed up online through the newspaper's web site or its Facebook page. All they had to do to enter was simply state the phrase, "pick me, pick me."
Fincher wishes the winners and their guests to have a Fun and safe weekend.
"Stop by our Facebook page and share your experiences," Fincher said to both winners.
