Report: Crime rate up in city, down in county

Mountain Home News

The crime rate in Mountain Home rose in 2014 while Elmore County saw a decline in criminal activity, according to a yearly report released last week.

The Idaho State Police Crime in Idaho report included data from the Mountain Home Police Department and Elmore County Sheriff's Department.

    Am I reading the chart correctly? Looks like crime is down in the city and up in the county, at least so far as total arrests correspond to total amount of crime.

    That's how I read it @Silverstone. Looks like the law enforcement in town is putting the heat on crime in town. Good job. Now what can we do about the scofflaws in the County area?
