Representatives from the Mountain Home Lions Club recognized three local area students for their unique perspectives on patriotism following their participation in a recent essay contest.
Darius Brantley, Zoe Costello and Buga Tapia Ceja received framed certificates, gift cards and a Lions Club pin during a series of presentations on Thursday.
