Petition puts stop to stop sign plan

Plans to turn the intersection at East 15th North and North 6th East streets into a four-way stop were halted last week after the city council reversed its earlier decision.

During a public meeting April 13, the council voted against a recommendation previously introduced by the city's traffic safety council.
