Lydia Houston
Lydia Lapp Houston, 94, of Mountain Home, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Lydia was born on Nov. 19. 1919, in Zap, N.D., the daughter of Mary and Philip Lapp.
Lydia was very active in Eastern Star, Amaranth and the Christian and Baptist Church.
Lydia is survived by her son, Robert Houston, of Minnesota, her daughter, Nancy (Rex) Snideman, of Mountain Home, her daughter-in-law, Kathy, of Mountain Home, her grandchildren, Don (Dodi) Snideman, Teresa (John) Filipovich, Molly (Todd) Archambault Casey Houston, Temple Houston, and her great-grandchildren, Jake, Luke, and Kole Filipovich, Eva and Olivia Archambault, and Bryn and Klairah Snideman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel David Houston, on July 10, 2010, and her son, Ronald Houston, on July 10, 2006.
The family requests that memorials be made to a charity of choice.
