Laubach sentenced in connection with stepson's death

Friday, September 19, 2014

Richard R. Laubach, a Mountain Home man accused of killing his stepson in March 2013, will spend at least 15 years in prison following his sentencing in district court on Friday.

District Judge Lynn Norton also sentenced Laubach to an indeterminate time of life in prison for his role in the death of Joseph "Joey" Graham III.

In July, Laubach pled guilty to a single count of first-degree murder as part of an agreement between the county prosecutor and his defense team.

More information on the sentencing hearing will appear in the Sept. 24 edition of the Mountain Home News.

  • In this case, I'll have to hope that life will mean that - his entire life. 15 years will be far to short a time.
