Deputy Wolfe to retire after 36 years in law enforcement

Elmore County Deputy Cathy Wolfe will retire after 36 years in law enforcement this Friday, Sept. 12.

A going-away party for her will be held on that date from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marine office in the emergency services building. The public is invited to attend.

Although she stands only five-feet, two-inches, she has stood tall in local law enforcement.

"Being smaller, I've had to develop my brain power and personality to defuse situations and resolve things peacefully," she said.
