WECRD approves construction plan

The design approved by the Western Elmore County Recreation District's board of directors features a nearly 24,000 square foot building.

The Western Elmore County Recreation District has given the green light for construction of Phase I of its community center.

After the July estimates for construction of the building came in considerably over budget, the WECRD board had directed its architects to find cheaper materials and to conduct a redesign that would bring it into budget.
