Rodeo queen deadline nears

Reigning Princess Kynlee Truhillo, 10, chats with the Elmore County Fair and Rodeo queen contest coordinator, Heather Hardman, as the two spent time last week drumming up support for the contest.

Young horsewomen from throughout the area are being invited to participate in the Elmore County Rodeo Queen Contest on July 5.

The deadline to apply is July 1. Contact queen coordinator Heather Hardman at 559-4695 or by e-mail at heatheralene@yahoo.com for more information or an application.

The contest will begin July 5 at 10 a.m. at Carmela Winery in Glenns Ferry.
