Bowens celebrate 25th

Bradley and Tiffany Bowen as they appear today.

Twenty-five years ago, Bradley Bowen and Tiffany Yelton were married in Nampa, Idaho, on Feb. 18, 1989.

They met while working together at the Kmart in Nampa during their senior years at separate high schools. They became engaged before Brad left for U.S. Air Force basic training in June of 1988 and were married the following year.

The Bowens celebrated their silver anniversary milestone with a vow renewal ceremony and with the exchange of new rings during a small ceremony with family and friends at the City Side Life Center Church in Boise, Idaho, on Jan. 25.

The Bowen's children, Stephanie, 23, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Blake, 20, of Twin Falls, honored their parents at the ceremony by singing special songs and by standing with them as attendants, along with Blake's wife, Jacque.

The Bowens have lived in the community since 1991. They are both currently employed by the U.S. Postal Service.
