Tiger's losing streak ends
The Mountain Home Tigers removed an albatross from their back on Dec.11 when they defeated the Caldwell Cougars to snap a 31-game losing streak.
Now at 1-2 in conference, and 1-5 overall, the Tigers hope to pick up more wins this season. They are currently averaging 47 points per ball game, having scored 282 points in their first six games. They have given up 370 points, an average of 61.7.
AJ Woodruff leads the Tigers in scoring with 64 points, which gives the freshman guard a 10.7 points per game average.
Tony Park has scored 56 (9.3) points, Jarek Schetzle 41 (6.8), and has 42 rebounds (7.0). Jose Rodriguez has scored 40 points (6.7) and has brought down 39 rebounds (6.5), and Christian Riedel has 38 points (6.3).
The Tigers have a busy week of basketball ahead, hosting Middleton on Tuesday, traveling to Kuna on Thursday and playing at Nampa on Saturday night, all three games conference games.

Jarek Schetzle is a six-foot, eight-inch junior post, the son of Greg and Chris Schetzle.
His main hobbies are paintball, Xbox 360 and basketball.
His goals for the season include, "getting better, stronger, more athletic and dunk face someone."
Jarek's future plans? "Go play for the L.A. Lakers."
