Tickets are $12 adult, $10 senior and $5 student. Tickets are are available at the at the door or in advance at Lucky Perk.

Daniel Bishop, "The Storyteller," loves stories of all kinds.

Whether he is spooking campers around a fire, spinning a yarn of the high seas, telling a tale of magic or mayhem, or expounding on a story of self discovery, he's always expressing his passion for the oldest of all entertainments -- the story.

Bishop has told stories from the Canadian border to the Mexican border (but has not crossed yet), from Minnesota to California.

He has appeared at such storytelling venues as The Weber State Storytelling Festival, Boise's Linen Building, The American West Heritage Center, The National Oregon/California Trail Center, Utah Public Radio and Stokes Nature Center, as well as schools, libraries, history tours and private parties.

This year, he placed third in the Utah's Biggest Liars competition and was privileged to tell his "tall tale" at the world-famous Timpanogos Storytelling Festival in Orem, Utah.

He said he is always on the hunt for a new story to tell and a new way to tell it. Using his voice and gestures, Bishop draws upon his training in theatre at Utah State University to captivate the imagination, and arts council spokespersons said.

Bishop's appearance is presented by the Mountain Home Arts Council, and supported through funding by Idaho Commission of th Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, select Mountain Home businesses and contributions from local citizens.
