Good samaritans demonstrate why town is so great

Dear editor:

On Sept. 7 we were walking back to our car following a fun day at the parade and Carl Miller Park.

While walking down American Legion Boulevaard around 3 p.m. I fell on an uneven sidewalk. At that time two men saw what had happened and stopped to help.

They were amazing and sadly, due to the pain I was in, I never got their names. I would like to thank them for all of their help and concern during that time.

I would also like to thank Officer Winings for all of his help and the ambulance crew, who were wonderful!

Finally, a big thank you as well to all of those who walked by and offered to help.

We live in a great community!
