Base airman dies

An airman from Mountain Home Air Force Base was found dead by Boise police the evening of Tuesday, July 23.

The body of Sandy Bojo, 25, of Meridian, was discovered at the Boise Outlet Mall.

"We lost a valued member of the Gunfighter family," said Col. Chris Short, 366th Fighter Wing commander. "This is a tragic event, and our hearts go out to his family, friends and coworkers during this difficult time."

According to the Ada County Coroner's office, Bojo died at his own hand.
