Is meat plant a good idea?

Dear editor:

On the issue of the meat processing plant/feed lot, that is proposed to go in just west of town, I have serious concerns as to whether the increase of 500 local jobs are going to be worth the smell that a feed lot is going to generate and be blown over the town by the prevailing winds.

Are our county commissioners and city leaders doing us justice on this matter?
