Perkins to wed Cavanaugh

The engagement of Sara Perkins to Burl Cavanaugh has been announced.

Perkins is the daughter of Sandra Perkins of Sonora, Calif., and the late Earl David Perkins of Glenns Ferry. She is a 2007 graduate of Sonora High School and is employed at Diestel Family Ranch.

Cavanaugh is the son of Dave Cavanaugh of Sacramento, Calif., and Phyllis Brown of Columbus, Mont. He is a 1998 graduate of Sonora High School and a graduate of Universal Technical Institute. He is employed at Sierra Pacific Industries.

The couple were engage on Oct. 29, 2011 and are planning to marry at Kennedy Meadows on Sept. 14, 2013. They will reside in Sonora.
