Fireworks show to go on as scheduled

Tonight's July 4 fireworks show will go on as scheduled, Fire Chief Alan Bermensolo has announced.

The current storm system is expected to conclude by about 8:30 p.m., more than an hour before official sundown. The show is scheduled to go off shortly thereafter, once it gets dark enough.

The Mountain Home Fire Department's fireworks show will be held at the golf course.
