Linda Lee Marshall
Our beloved daughter and sister, Linda Lee Marshall, went home to Jesus on March 28, 2013, a breast cancer survivor, lost her battle to ovarian cancer. She was born on Jan. 2, 1951, to John S. Marshall and Gladys Bashline.
Linda spent most of her youth in Escalon, California, where she graduated from Escalon High School in 1969. She was active in numerous school clubs, sports, and volunteered at the local hospital as a candy striper. After various jobs, Linda was hired by Regional Transit in Sacramento, CA, as a Customer Service Rep. Her dedication, people skills, and many Quality Service Awards, led to her eventual promotion as the Customer Service Supervisor for her department. With 26+ years of faithful service, she was able to retire and relocate to Meridian, Idaho, where she resided until her passing.
Linda, by nature, was a compassionate and happy person, enjoying life, people, and animals. It was her kindness and fun-loving spirit which drew people in, giving her lasting friendships everywhere she went. Utilizing a natural creative talent, she spent many satisfying hours in painting, sculpting, and creating art out of almost anything. She had a love of the outdoors and a passion for fishing. She was a champion for animals and last volunteered at the Pet Adoption League in Emmett.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, John S. Marshall, her two brothers, John S. Marshall Jr. and Anthony L. Marshall, III. She is survived by her mother, Gladys Bashline, and her younger sister, Maggie Collett, both of Grand View.
