Toot Acuff

On March 16, 2013, our beloved dad, Vern "Toot" N. Acuff, 57, of Mountain Home, was unexpectedly taken from us to join his parents, Vern R. Acuff and Lucille Acuff.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 22, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

He was a loving father, brother, friend, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed every opportunity to be with his kids and grandkids.

His favorite thing to do was play poker with his buddies and one day hoped to go on the world poker tour.

He was an avid drummer.

He was loved by all he came across.

He was always telling jokes and loved magic tricks.

Toot is survived by his daughters, Carmen and husband Kenny Gonzales of Elko, Nev., Candice Acuff of Reno, Nev., sons Taylor and Tyler of Boise, brothers Don and wife Joyce of Marysville, Calif., Gary and Jay of Mountain Home, Chris of Coeur d'Alene, five grandchildren, Brittney, BreAnna, Braxten, Orion and Camiah, one great-grandchild, Kaden, nieces, nephews and last but not least, his cat, Trumpet.

He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
