Gary Kellum
Gary Wayne Kellum, 60, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013, at a hospital in Boise, Idaho.
Gary was born on Nov. 11, 1952, to E. Wayne and Margaret Kellum, in Friendswood, Texas, the sixth of six sons.
He was raised in Friendswood where he attended elementary and high school. Gary was active in athletics, and especially excelled in football.
In 1973, Gary married Velma Davis and they had two sons. They later divorced.
Gary worked for Worthington for many years in Texas and in 2007 he moved to Mountain Home, Idaho, where he has since resided.
Gary loved all sports and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, until health issues prevented him from continuing.
Preceding Gary in death was his son, Jesse G. Kellum, his parents, E. Wayne and Margaret Kellum, a brother, Larry E. Kellum, and a sister-in-law, Elaine Kellum.
He is survived by one son, Michael W. Kellum, of Livingston, Texas, grandchildren Dylan and Savannah Kellum, brothers Keith D. (Kendall) Kellum of Virginia Beach, Va., Kenneth E. (Lou Anne) Kellum of Weiser, Idaho, Daryl E. Kellum of Soldotna, Alaska, Richard D. (Joanna) Kellum of Mountain Home, Idaho, a sister-in-law, Lois Kellum, of Yulee, Fla., and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
