Fred Edwin Stevenson
A celebration of life was held on March 2, 2013, at the Fresno, California, Moose Lodge. He was born April 12, 1930, to Fred and Irene Stevenson in Brule, Nebraska.
The family moved to Mountain Home, Idaho, where Fred graduated from high school in 1949. Fred's driving career began at the early age of 14 when he drove a lumber truck for his father. It continued as he drove for various companies in Idaho and California.
He retired in 1991 after 50 years behind the wheel. However, it didn't last long. He again drove years delivering big RV rigs throughout the U.S. He served in the Army during the Korean War as a tank driver.
Fred is survived by three children: Fred Jr. and wife Deborah of Fresno, Debrah and Pacer of Sanger and Charles and wife Karen of Fresno. Fred had four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Fred is also survived by his sister Shirley Rumpf and husband Bruce of Green Valley, Arizona, and Linda Kromm and husband Harry of Caldwell, Idaho, plus several nieces and nephews.
