Michael Knoblock

Michael R. Knoblock, 65, of Mountain Home, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013, at Aaron Brooke Assisted Living center in Mountain Home.

At his request, no services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Michael was born to Robert and Veva Ogle Knoblock in Coeur d'Alene on June 15, 1947. He graduated from Parma High School in 1965 and then joined the U.S. Navy, where he served a tour as a crew member on a Swift Boat in Vietnam. He was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.

Michael is survived by his brother, Ken, and his wife, Julie Knoblock, of Coeur d'Alene, and his sister, Nancy, and her husband, Jerry Mason, of Mountain Home, three nephews, two nieces and his dog, Lucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
