Bonnie Tucker
Bonnie Tucker, 68, of Mountain Home, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at her home.
On Friday, March 1, a viewing will be held from 8:30-10:45 a.m. and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Bonnie was born on Nov. 8, 1943, to Henry Edward and Lillian Roxy Motley in Keota, Okla. She grew up in California in a large family. In 1967, she moved to Idaho where she had resided ever since.
Bonnie married Bob Flemmings in 1959. Together, they had a son, Edward Murl Flemmings. Bonnie later married Gary Tucker. Together, they had three daughters, Nakeia Lynn, LaDawn Rae and Sonja Kayann Tucker.
Bonnie grew up working the fruit orchards with her family. In 1985, she began working at Magic West in Glenns Ferry, where she worked until she retired.
Bonnie was quick witted and had a great sense of humor.
She had a passion for gardening and loved her rose bushes.
Bonnie could make the best carrot cake from scratch and fry the most wonderful pork chops.
She loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed.
Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Nakeia and Sonja Tucker, her grandchildren, LaDawn, Patricia, Todd, Dillon and Kade, two great-grandchildren, Kemmen and Davey, all of Mountain Home, three sisters, Shirley Bennett, June Jester and Kathy Poss, one brother, Clyde Murl Motley, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of California.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, six sisters, both her husbands, Bob and Gary, and two children, Edward and LaDawn.
