Ron Crone
Ron Crone passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at the age of 70.
Graveside services were held at Glenn Rest Cemetery on Monday, Feb. 18. A memorial service followed at the VFW Hall in Glenn's Ferry. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Ron was born on Jan. 29, 1943, in Gannett, Idaho, to J. W. and Maxine Crone. He moved to Oregon with his family around the age of 5. Ron graduated from West Linn High School.
He met and married his wife, Bobbi (Childers) and they had three children Pechez, Ronnie, Jr. and Travis.
In 1977, he moved his family closer to his parents in Glenn's Ferry.
Later they adopted a fourth child, a daughter Nikki. After his son Ronnie and his wife's tragic death, Ron and Bobbi help raised their grandson Austin Crone.
Ron was co-owner of Hanson's Cafe in Glenn's Ferry with his wife of 47 years.
Ron is survived by: His wife Barbara "Bobbi" Crone of Glenns Ferry; daughter Pechez Sepehri and husband Mike of California; son Travis Crone and wife Terri of Glenns Ferry; daughter Nikki Crone of Las Vegas; grandchildren Austin Crone and Melanie, Kelsey Sephehri, Aaron Sepehri, Roni Jo Crone, Talli Crone, Rowen Crone, Zoe Crone; great-grandchild Ashlyn; his brother Bob Crone and wife Joyce of Oregon; sisters Twyla Anderson and husband Butch of Glenns Ferry, and Judy Larkin and husband Keith of Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Ronald Crone, Jr., and daughter in-law Deanna.
