Loft balloons for slain kids
Dear editor:
I want our town to get together, and pass the word to other towns, in fact, other states, that on Christmas Eve at 4 p.m. we, as a town, gather balloons, helium balloons, and meet in the parking lot across from Kurlys bar to release our balloons in the sky as a gift of love and support to the children whose lives were cut short in that tragic event back east.
If we could spread the word to other cities and states for them all to do the same somewhere in their city, could you imagine? Christmas would truly mean something this year, as all us AMERICANS get together to show our love and support for these families at this very difficult time.
If each family bought one balloon per person, it would be beautiful! All it takes is one person from each city, town, and state. Please! These families need to know they are not alone this holiday, that they are in our thoughts and prayers, and we all still have love for one another.
That's the true meaning of Christmas right? True meaning of America!
So please show your support and take a few minutes out of your holiday this Christmas Eve at 4 p.m and meet with everyone to release your balloon. Thank you!
