Museum hosts Victorian tea

Members of the Hello Dollies chapter of the Red Hat Society were among those attending last week's Victorian tea events at the city museum.

The basement of the Mountain Home Museum looked like a scene from the old days of the Civic Club as it filled last week with women and young girls enjoying an old-fashioned Christmas tea.

Many of the 79 participants in the four sessions of the tea wore hats and gloves, but all seemed to enjoy the conversation across the tables and the service of the tea committee.
