Boys soccer team falls to BK
The Tigers let one get away from them last Monday night at Eastside Park as the Bishop Kelly Knights came away with a 3-2 win in boys soccer.
Brandon Zacharias and Rodrigo Saenz scored goals for Mountain Home. Fernando Martinez had an assist.
Jack Richelieu had 13 saves for Mountain Home.
"It was a tough battle. We played them good," said Tiger head soccer coach Jay Lockett. "I thought we had the game sewed up, but we just couldn't finish it."
"Hats off to BK," added assistant coach Tre Baham. "They played a tough game. They were one man down -- they got a red card and played us with 10, and were able to sneak one in on us, but we look forward to seeing them again."
The Tigers drop to 4-5-2 on the season. They returned to action Monday at Kuna and are at Middleton today (Sept. 26).
"We're glad for a week off -- we have, like, four injuries so far," said Coach Lockett.
