Sessions named homecoming queen.
Senior Ashley Sessions was named this year's homecoming queen during halftime of Friday's football game against Caldwell.
The gridiron thriller came down to the final seconds in the second half with a penalty costing the Mountain Home High School Tigers an initial field goal. The second attempt hooked to the left of the uprights as the seconds ticked away and the Tigers lost their 17th game in a row by a score of 28-26 (see story in Sports).
The homecoming game culminated several days worth of contests and inner-school competitions aimed at fueling support for the Tigers. Activities over the past week allowed students from each grade level a chance to express their support for the school's varsity football team as they prepared for the skirmish against the Cougars.
