Wally Siebenberg
Harry Wallace Siebenberg, "Wally," 83, passed away on July 13, 2012, with his family by his side, at a Boise hospital.
Funeral services will be held at First Southern Baptist Church of Mountain Home, Tuesday, July 17, at 2 p.m. Burial with military honors will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Wally was born July 30, 1928, in Caldwell, to Jennie and Harry Siebenberg. He graduated from Caldwell High School.
Wally served in the Army during the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart. He then worked as a civil service electrician at Mountain Home Air Force Base for 30 years.
Wally married Sharon Webster on Oct. 20, 1961. They had two sons, Ron and Steve.
Wally was an active member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher.
Wally most enjoyed being with his family and friends and all the good times they shared.
He had a great sense of humor and liked to make others smile.
He is survived by Sharon, his wife of 50 years, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ron Siebenberg and Steve and Judy Siebenberg; five grandchildren, Taylor, Jamey, Daniel, David and Sara, and one sister, Velma Nelson.
He wass preceded in death by his other sister, Noreen Phillips.
