Robert Henrick
Robert William Henrick was the eighth child born to Clarence Henrick and Ruth Neece Henrick on Feb. 16, 1933. He was born in Iowa City, Iowa, and passed away in Mountain Home on May 30, 2012.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Burial with military honors will be held in Davenport, Iowa on Wednesday, June 6, 2012.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 during the Korean War Conflict. He came back to Iowa and worked at Alcoa Aluminum for 45 years.
Robert married Mary Margaret Tucker in 1956 in Rock Island, Illinois. They were happily married for 56 years.
He loved sports of any kind and was a Golden Glove champion boxer two times. He also bowled in leagues most of his life.
Robert is survived by his wife, Mary; his sons, Robert Scott and his wife Joanne Henrick of Mountain Home; and James Joseph and his wife Joy Henrick of Salt Lake City, Utah; his sisters Elizabeth Jane Alwine of Pasadena, Texas; and Patricia Louise Hunt of Tyler, Texas; and grandchildren, Jeffrey Hawley, Shianna Hawley and Shelby Henrick.
His daughters were Brenda Jane Henrick and Laura Lynn Henrick. They preceded him in death.
