Delores Poe
Delores "Dee" Ann B. (Anderson) Poe, 78, of Mountain Home passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012, at a Mountain Home care center. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Dee was born on March 11, 1934, in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Martin and Annabelle Anderson.
Dee worked 29 years in the civil service industry. At one time, she was vice president of the Business Professional Woman's; vice president of the Elmore Hospital Auxiliary; Family Services Coordinator at March Air Force Base, Calif.; and was a member of the Third Order Lay Carmalight (O.C.D.S.).
She enjoyed poem writing, crocheting, and piano playing. She loved camping in Featherville and her trips to Jackpot.
Delores is survived by sons James and his wife Laurie Poe of Boise; Marc and his wife Amy Poe of Boise; her daughters, Catherine and her husband Richard Voellinger of Oregon; Cassandra and her husband Jack Madden of Kuna; her brother, Patrick Anderson of Oregon; her sister, Rose Heck of California; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dennis; her sister, Colleen; and her son, Christopher.
