Alice Kibler
Beloved wife and mother Alice Ruth Fargo Kibler, 82, of Mountain Home went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2012. The family will receive visitors at the family home on Saturday, March 31, 2012, from 1 to 4 in the afternoon.
She was born Dec. 30, 1929, in Tunkhannock, Pa., to C. Stanley Fargo and Beatrice Peuterbaugh Fargo. She married Dewey Kibler on April 2, 1950.
Alice had a deep love for writing, and many of her writings were published both locally and in various publications across the country. She also had her own radio program on the Mountain Home radio station.
She is survived by a brother, Stanley Fargo, and a sister, Mabel Hadsall, both of Tunkhannock, Pa., and five children: Kathy Houston and Patricia Kibler, both of Mountain Home; James Kibler of Boise; Jacqueline Lokken of Leal, N.D.; and Laura Brabham of Montgomery, Ala.; as well as 11 grandchildren and eigh great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey, and a daughter, Cynthia.
Per her wishes, there will be no formal services held. Her children will lay her to rest privately. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
