Debate coach recognized as state's best

For his ability to transform his students into a nationally ranked speech and debate team, a teacher at Mountain Home High School earned state-level honors last month.

Speech and debate teacher John Petti was voted the state's Speech Arts Teacher of the Year by the Idaho Speech Arts Teacher's Association.
