Economic development leaders back GF candidates
Dear editor:
The Southern Idaho Economic Development Organization (SIEDO) and Southern Idaho Rural Development are economic development entities working in cites from Rupert to Glenns Ferry.
For more than one year, the Glenns Ferry Economic Development Committee (GFEDC) has been associated with these two organizations. Together, we have participated in presenting the Curry Grain Facility and the Idahoan Facility to potential outside investors.
In addition to complex written proposals, the GFEDC has been involved in numerous site visits by certain potential investors who are interested enough to want to view the buildings in person.
Dewey "Alan" Crane and Traci Stewart are part of the GFEDC and have been significant contributors to the economic health of Glenns Ferry. Traci and Alan are community leaders in Glenns Ferry and have demonstrated over and over that they have the talent, resources and the desire for smart growth for their community. These qualities will make a difference in the economic vitality of the city.
We believe that Alan and Traci are not just leaders in the present... but they represent the future for the City of Glenns Ferry.
We strongly endorse Dewey Alan Crane and Traci Stewart for election on Nov. 8 for the Glenns Ferry City Council.
