Donald Holloway
Donald S. Holloway, 75, of Glenns Ferry, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, in his home, surrounded by family and friends.
A memorial service, with military honors, will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 3 p.m., at the Glenns Ferry VFW Hall. Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.
Don was born June 4, 1936, in Cedardale, Okla., but moved to Idaho when he was ten years old and grew up in Kimberly.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years, settling in Glenns Ferry.
He then worked for the Department of Agriculture for over 20 years.
He was a very active member of the VFW and immensely proud of the service they perform.
Don is survived by his loving companion of almost 36 years, Dianne Moffet, his children, Iris and Gary Wetz, Misty Holloway, Nina and Scott Isaacson, and Scott and Lori Holloway. He has 30 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one grandson and one granddaughter.
