Ann Butler
Anne Lora Butler (Foss), 46, of Mountain Home, went home to be with her father on Aug. 27, 2011. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at Mountain
View Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
Anne (Cricket, as she was known to her family) was born on March 1, 1965, in Ohio, the youngest of eight children. She spent the first five years of her life traveling, since her father was in the military. He retired in Mountain Home, where she grew up.
Anne has two sons, Scott and Kristopher Swenson. Anne enjoyed outdoor activities, such as camping and fishing, and she also liked to find great bargains at local thrift stores.
She worked for a time in one of the thrift stores in Mountain Home and excelled as a paralegal.
She had a ready sense of humor and loved her Boxer dogs, Chaos and Sophie.
Anne remained friendly with her ex-husband, Danny Swenson, and although separated, with her husband, Dana Butler. Anne also loved spending time with her good friend, Doug Collins.
We love and miss her and wish her peace.
Anne is survived by her two sons, her mother, Majella Foss, her seven older siblings and their spouses, Deborah Majewski and her husband, Michael, William Foss and his wife, Sally, Robert Foss, Laura Taylor and her partner, Auddie Mills, Douglas Foss, Margaret Ham and her husband, Bob, Sharon Schafer and her husband Marc, 12 nieces and nephews, two great-nephews and one great-niece.
Anne was preceded in death by her father, Conrad Foss, her four grandparents and her niece, Christy Taylor.
