Burn Ban in effect

Due to the high fire danger in Elmore County and the fact that all the fire districts already have burn bans in effect, Elmore County Sheriff Rick Layher has issued a burn ban for all of Elmore County effective immediately. The only exception is if you are camping or using the Boise National Forest. for information on burning in the Boise National Forest please call the Forest Service at 208-587-7961.
