Memorial Day events scheduled

American Legion Post #26 will host Memorial Day services at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home on Monday, May 30, beginning at 11 a.m.

Col. Ronald Buckley, 366th Fighter Wing commander, will be the featured speaker.

Mayor Tom Rist, Post Commander Rich McMahan Jr. and Chaplain Jime Blanton will make brief remarks. Carol Dalton will read a poem and music will be provided by Marilyn Landers and Tom Lindsay.
